Translator Biography
Rosie has lived in England, Bermuda, New York, Spain, Ghana and Iowa City. She holds an MFA in Literary Translation from the University of Iowa where she was the 2011-2013 Iowa Arts Fellow, and a BA from Sarah Lawrence College, where she co-created and edited 'Babel: A Student Translation Publication.' Her translations have been published by AmazonCrossing and The Translation Review and her work was awarded the honorable mention in the 2009 Susan Sontag Translation Prize. Rosie has worked at PEN American Center, Words Without Borders, and Mary Evans Inc. Literary Agency.

I received my graduate degree in Literary Translation from the Iowa Translator's Workshop, where I studied with renowned translators like Aron Aji and writers like Marilynne Robinson. I was awarded the Iowa Arts Fellowship during the entirety of my master's degree.
